Directions:
Greenland Open Space is located four miles south of Larkspur (10 miles south of Castle Rock) and six miles north of Monument (20 miles north of Colorado Springs). Take 1-25 to exit 167, travel west 1/4 mile and then south 1/2 mile to the Greenland trailhead. There is limited parking at this parking lot. Overflow parking is located just over the railroad tracks at the Spruce Mountain parking area. Please follow the instructions of the parking crew upon arrival.
Lodging:
The nearest hotels are located in Castle Rock to the north and Monument to the south. The Comfort Suites Castle Rock and the Days Inn Castle Rock are offering participants a discounted room rate for the night of May 3rd. The Comfort Suites has offered a rate of $85 and the Days Inn has offered a rate of $69. To reserve these rates, you will need to book you lodging before April 20th. To book, please call the hotels directly and ask for the Greenland Trail Race group rate and use your credit card to reserve the rooms.
